12/6/07 Friday SKSS NCC TRAINING.....(The most fun day i ever had)

5.30pm outside General Office...

We are having discussion with our individual groups about our CIP, the 4 UDI's become the IC of their own group, Mr Pinto is also IC of his own group...Then we are given time to discuss about the storyboard and what are the scene, action and roles of each cadets do....

After discussing, Mr Pinto asked us to squeeze together for briefing, guess what, we are playing games, what is the game ??? The game is water bomb !!!! Who VS Who ???? NCC VS Girl Guides. Faris, Daniel and some of them were carrying packs of water bomb in big red plastic bag... We are told to give our cadets 2 water bomb each.... So when Mr Pinto say : "u'll can get ready to collect the water bomb" I stand there and asked them to line up one row.... Then we give them one by one, after we gave the cadets, guess what ??? There's still many left over, so me, Feng Yuan and Evan plan to go to play with them under the bridge.... Then we went to the hanging garden there..... Suddenly, Evan thought of an idea, which is to go to the canteen near to the D&T workshop and store our ammo there (Canteen's noticeboard where the cca's noticeboard is located) Then Feng Yuan say : "why don't we chiong from the side as the girl guides are at the needle work room !!!" I say : "Good Idea ah !!!! " Then when both the UG's start throwing at each other, Me and Feng Yuan hang the red plastic bag on our shoulder like a hand bag like that, then we say let's go !!!!, we 3 UDI each arm with water bomb on our hand, then Feng Yuan shout NCC, I shout: "Girl Guides", the 2 UG's kept throwing so we have no choice but to run and throw at girl guides.... Feng Yuan and i then separated ourselves and throw at girl guides, as for me i hit the girl guides and run, again hit and run, kept doing the same until there's no water bomb.... Feng Yuan shouted at me...... Then he said: " Howe Liang, the big red plastic bag, let's go to the cubicle and fill the red plastic bag until the water has stop running". After filling it, we then charge and shout "girl guides, yaaaaaaaahhhh......", we throw the big water bomb and landed in the middle, boom, it burst and hit many of them...

After that, we stop the game, clear up the mess and dismiss the company.... We 4 UDI's Shamsuree, Me, Feng Yuan and Evan march in the rain and been named "Rain Marching Platoon" We march until Mr Pinto call us, then we stop, we went to the Log room and saw that the Girl Guides room has been flooded with water, it was not so serious ba...Around 1 to 2 cm like that.... Oh my ..... We 3 UDI'S hang our wet t-shirt inside NCC room and we pack our thing and went home !!!! That was my happiest day ever !!!!

Sec 1 Orientation Campfire 2007

It's on the 5 of January 2007(3rd and last day of the camp),

After the CCA carnival debriefing for NCC, i ran to Media Club that side, i saw them setting up a bit of equipments then when they test out the equipment, it seems to be working faulty, Andy up Mr Leong's portable amplifier cordless mic, it seems to have some "ssssssss" sound coming out, then later a loud buzzer suddenly sound out and shock us including girl guides cause girls guides were sitting directly in front of the giant speaker, we try to use the audio cable to plug into the gator and project out the sound but it's still didn't give out any sound, then we switch off the system and on the system again....It still giving this "ssssssssss" sound, so Kevin call Jeff down, then Jeff also see the situation, he then call Kevin to call Lincoln to come down, after Lincoln had come down, he come and check the system, he plug in and out and change some cables, the system resumed to it's original working position, then Lincoln said: "The system miss me la, that's why"..... We laugh out loud !!! After we prepare everything, the sec 1s had arrived to the parade square, then the mc's declared the campfire officially begin, they sing some song and until 7+, we show them the photo taken on this 3 days camp, after around 5 mins the sky starts to drizzle, then later more worst, it rain....I actually rushing to the ibook and the projector to switch off the power to avoid power trip but i'm shock to see Mr Leong chiong to switch off the spotlight and the ibook and projectors power, so i run there as quickly as i can, i switch off those extension cable which are power on, then we push the ibook, projector on the trolley to the shelter outside the D&T workshop, that includes the giant speacker also, the campfire wood were cover with groundsheet to prevent it from wet....the other members were ordered by miss lim to wiped the eqiupment dry after wiping it dry miss lim tell them to put the equipment inside the wooden store beside her office, then we use the old coomber amplifier as the backup support and we place it in the canteen...in the canteen they continue to sing the songs until the rain stop,then some girl guides start the campfire, in the canteen the sec 1 were asked to proceed to the parade square to sing songs, well the canteens coomber amplifier can't extended longer enough out to the parade square, so i and andy immediately chiong to the General Office (GO) P.A. system, we take the mic and plug it into the parade square like what we usually do during the morning assembly, then we tune the volume to the suitable cause it's night (around 9+) so i and andy chiong to the GO and sit in front of the P.A. System, sit down and rest drink the water which uncle choo push in with the trolley, Adeline came into the GO to ask where is the song for the Sky Leaders to dance, then we again run to the wooden workshop, along we ask Lincoln where is the disc he said it's in the Laptop, so we asked to him to help us eject out the disc for us, after helping us to eject the disc, i and andy again chiong to the (GO) we insert the disc and wait for teh command to play the song, after the command we play the song adjust the volume, we adjust to the volume we usually done on the morning assembly, it can't be hear, then Lincoln chiong in and tune the volume to half, which means it will be very loud, well it's really very loud....After that dance the Sec 1 were dismiss back to their class for debrief.... We go and collect the walkie talkies from the girl guides keep our eqiupment and go back to innospace....we pack our things, then suddenly i feel my stomach very pain and a bit weak to move, this is because i didn't eat for my dinner and i run and work heavily but with only a little break, so they said there were extra food left but in the end there were no food left cause someone eat it...Then Jeff tell me to get the Media Club fund $10 to buy something and eat...so later i when out of school and go to the coffeeshop and see is there anything to buy and eat, eventually people are queing up to buy food so i don't wanna buy anything and return back to the school's car porch and wait for Jeff and the rest to come down, so i wait for a while and they come down then we walk out. So they ask me whether u eat anything, i sat didn't cause got long queue so they also felt a bit hungry, then they join me drink some drinks while i dapao Satay Chicken Rice home, after that Jeff and Andy have something to settle so they go to aside.....then we continue to walk along our way home....
