Terrible and disastrous day.... 6/3/07 TUESDAY...

After school having Social Studies SSP, Miss Khalidal got another class to take so Miss Sazryna took over our class, then have a SEQ test, do finish already and the time is 3.45pm, it's time for me to go for the Speech Day rehearsal... I raise my hand and she come toward me, i said : " Miss Sazryna, i have to go for the speech day rehearsal..." She check my paper and said : '' Your SEQ so short, u should cross reference all this "... SIAN .... cannot go, have to wait til 4.00pm WA LAO.... Then bell rang, she said : " Wait... I want to check ur SEQ before that then u can go.... almost the whole class stay back because their SEQ are short... Then Hafizah went and line up, i told her : " Wa Lao Weh, 4pm liao leh, i asked her she still dont wanna let me off...." She replied back : " Ya lo, my girls are over there walking around doing nothing...". Then i also went and line up, then when is Hafizah's turn, her answer script was rejected, she stay behind the teacher and said : " Argh...", then it's my turn, the teacher look and look, mine was also reject, then we two said : " Don't care liao ah, just tell her that's very important...." Then i go tell Miss Sazryna : " Miss Sazryna... We really have to go.... We have no choice, it's very important to us...." Miss Sazryna look at us and said : " Only u two ah...." Then finally settled, we put the answer script on her table and run like hell.....

Another incident which make me cry is that when i went to the Log room, Gin Wee told me : " Howe Liang, don't go down first, now Mr Raj is scolding them, so don't go down " . Then later people kept coming in and say : " Howe Liang, the teachers are finding you...." Howe Liang, Mr Raj is finding you...." I flare up and said in an angry manner "OK OK" I rush down and see the sir, then i bring the music cd along, i pass to the SCLT Benjamin, he asked me : " Where's the CD list ", Howe Liang : " I never bring "..... He stare at me.... Then Mr Raj asked : " where's the amplifier ? " I replied : " I haven't brought it down yet...." Then Mr Raj said : " Now you go and bring it down, then i chiong with Yong Kuang to the Innospace and took the Amplifier and come down.... Then setup the mic for them, then Miss Ong asked me : " Howe Liang, are we going to play the music on that amplifier ? " I said : " No !!! ", Miss Ong said : " So are we going to use the P.A. System ? " I replied back : " Yes ! ", Miss Ong said : " Can you now go setup the P.A. System ? " then i said : " Ok Lo ", i rush to the General Office and heard the SCLT is calling my name, then i turn my direction towards the key personnels meeting place, and had a little meeting, The SCLT asked : " You always the last person to come in leh, wat u doing now ? " , i show attitude to him (This is my First time showing attitude to someone) and said : " Now i setting up the P.A. System, then u asked me to come here " (Actually my tears are dropping), the SCLT said : " Ok ... You go settle ur things inside the General Office " , so after that Ai Cheang follow me to the General Office, on the way my tears starting to drop, i kept enduring but cannot, then i teach Ai Cheang on how to operate the system, on the way my tears started to drop out and then i cried, Ai Cheang see it and he try to cool me down by patting my back, Mr Anbu also saw me crying, he also pat my back and asked me to cool down and relax, after i stopped crying, i continue to teach Ai Cheang. After that i go and see SCLT to tell him that the P.A. System is ready, he said :" Where's the mic ? " , i told him and said : " On the way setting up ".... He said : " ok", along the way i wipe my tears.... after setting up, i joined back my Flag Contingent and continue the parade rehearsal.....

20/2/07 初三 third day of Chinese New Year...

My family went to Chen Wang Temple, 成王庙 there to pray the godness, burn incense paper and joss stick, after that it's parents job, so i had nothing to do, then i saw this laughing buddha (笑佛), and had a photo, it's for people to touch so that the person will have incoming wealth...

4/3/07 Last day of Chinese New Year for 2007

Fire Work at the Esplanade for the last day of Chinese New Year, too many people over there so my father drove us to the Anderson Bridge there and watch, many people also crowd around there and watch... Although the lower fire work can't be seen, we can see the higher ones... They put the higher ones more....

6/3/07 Tuesday Speech Day Rehearsal

Attention all NCC Cadets,

 Please be informed that there will be a FULL-DRESS (No.1) rehearsal for Speech Day on TUESDAY, 6/03/07 from 3.30pm till 5.30pm for all those who are involved in the Guard Of Honour Contingent. Those who are not involved are also to turn up for the training. Attire would be No.4. Those who are involved in the G.O.H please bring your white gloves for marching and make sure your No.1 uniform is prepared (putting of the buttons,rank,badges etc) It MUST be in tip-top condition!

Also, Those who are NOT involved in G.O.H but have your No.1 uniform with you.. return back to the Logistics Room by Monday 5/03/07 at 1.30pm and those who are involved in the G.O.H but do not have a set of No.1 uniform must meet CLT Gin Wee outside Log Rm at 1.30pm on monday itself! 

On tuesday all those who are involved in the G.O.H must fall-in in Half No.1 attire( P.E T-Shirt) and those who are not involved are to fall in in No.4. A spot check would be conducted to ensure that cadets have a decent haircut and fingernails(last warning!!). Please pass the info to all your NCC mates.For any further information you can seek any of your teachers, CLTs, Sgt Maj or call/msg Raj at 92226890.

2/3/07 Friday NCC Training

Today's training quite ok....Today brought wrong uniform, brought NO.1 this morning to school, heng heng SSP stop at 12.45pm 15 mins of SSP cause teacher got no voice, then i quickly chiong to the log room, took my no. 1 , take taxi and went home, fold my NO.4, take a shower, change into no.4, go to school by bus...

Today the whole day preparing for speech day rehearsal.... Wearing no.4 with no.1 cap, looks very funny, but there's a reason because they want us to know that on that day wearing no.1 will be like wearing no.4, Hot and sweaty...Today SCLT Benjamin bring someone familiar to our school for training the GOH, he is SCLT Iman, he came to our school before... He today in-charge of training the GOH

After that i remembered that Mr Pinto told me to take the Amplifier from innospace and Rafi went to innospace to loan out a promix amplifier, for playing the marching in and out music, before i went into the innospace, i asked Rafi to stay outside and wait for me, Andy (Char Shao Bao) bring me the Promix Amplifier, asked me to asked Mr Pinto to sign out... Then i walk off to take the lift, on the way, i saw those key personnel wearing no.4 in long fold, so i and Rafi quickly take the lift, we went behind the blue wall with Rafi pulling the amplifier, asked him to take care, later he pull and put it under the most front table nearer to the blue colour table right infront of canteen. When he see Mr Pinto, he asked him to sign... Then Mr Pinto asked him : " Rafi, ur inside the GOH right, faster go and join them ! ". Rafi rush there, asked for permission to fall in, meanwhile i run to the log room and change into no.4, longfold myself and take out all the badges and my lanyard...

After i had changed, i run to the parade square, saw the key personels training themselves with the GOH, i took my pacestick on the table and wear my no.1 cap and run to them, then SCLT Benjamin asked me to report to him, he burned the disc then i put the disc inside the amplifier's CD player. Then i went to join them training ourselves, then SCLT Benjamin asked : " Whose's very free ? " , so me and Yong Kuang report to him, this time we are labelling the parade's formation, after labelling and measuring where the contingents and its commander standing, then it's started to rain a bit, later getting larger and larger, we had no choice but to go into canteen and wait for the rain to stop, meanwhile SCLT Benjamin told me to try playing the song but it can't work, so i just go to my flag contingent to train with them, due to the flag pole which is long, we change our place to the science block 3rd floor cause more space, we train and taught them wat to do.... Then later SCLT Benjamin came up and train us....

After he's satisfied, he went off, we continue to train ourselves, then later, Evan taught the flag escort on where they are going to stand by using rain water drawing on the ground about where we are going to stand, then Mr Pinto walk pass and told us :" We are going to start the parade soon ! " . Then when we planned finish, we went behind the blue wal and see the GOH drills, soon the rain starting to get smaller and smaller, SCLT Benjamin asked me to take the tapes and pacestick to measure, Evan and me were asked to take the wasted tapes and throw it away, again we got no choice but to run to the canteen, then when i tried to play the music it works !.... The SCLT Benjamin so happy, he walk along and say we the Air Stewardess, oh no.... Then SCLT Benjamin had a briefing with the GOH & Flag Contingent about the marching music gonna be use, after that briefing, Mr Pinto say to cancel the whole reheasral as it continue to rain and lightnings were flashed.

Wilson suggested that we go to the hall and train but only Flag Contingent cause when marching, it will causes unpleasant noise to the Staff room below, so onli the Flag Contingent can go up, we train ourselves with the marching music, train and train, later SCLT Benjamin asked the GOH to come up to watch our marching cause our marching is a bit up to standard, so the GOH sit on the stage and watch us march. After briefing, we went to the back of the hall(not the backstage) because the uncle want to lock the hall, so the flag contingent were brief by SCLT Benjamin, saying our performance, later as we walked, he suddenly put his hand on my shoulder and say to day well done, then he slap my back, OUCH !!!, DAM PAIN, we went to the back of the hall and join the GOH, we dismiss our Flag Contingent from other UG's, we rest awhile and then me, Yuh Yang and Evan put our stuffs inside the log room and head straight to the canteen for a drink up, then we went back up again but very sian, so i took my things and head to the canteen, Yong Kuang, Sebastian and Evan were there resting, so i joined them, after about 15 mins, the GOH were dismiss, Wilson came down and rest, then he went somewhere, we were chatting along with Wee Chin then about 20 mins later Wilson came down and told us, canteen upstair the floor very nice to skate because got water, so me, Yong Kuang, Evan, Sebastian and Wee Chin went up and play, whoo hu.... So nice, it's like skating in the snow, we skate and drift, ouch, i fall down twice, follow by Wilson, OUCH... that was pain, we keep skating til Wilson went down and play basketball, he call me : "Howe Liang, catch the ball ! " , i catch it and throw it back to Wilson, then we go down and play basketball, we keep throwing and throwing find til very sian then change the game til like we form a straight, between us there's space, one person got to stand on the line, the person bouncing the basketball must pass through the 5 person defending in a straight without them touching wins, so we play and play, saw our seniors and friends go, then we also go.. Then when Sebastian, Me and Evan walked half way, Evan called his father to fetch him home, so we sit on the concrete bench outside the school, the when me and Sebastian walked halfway, Evan called us, so we u-turn and walk back, Sebastian asked me : " I know wat" , i said : '' Evan's father gonna send us home", so we sat on Evan's father car and he drove us home....
