Early in the morning went to sch to see the trng then selection of the Key position... They were trying out the full rehearsal, and so I use a box as the drum beat, with a water bottle as a stick... After the command was given, I strike on the box la... It makes a difference between using vocal and hitting with a box which is not a drum at all.. But no matter what, it still sound the same and provide the same tune. Lunch at the Tampines F&B which is outside SKSS. Then went to SK Mrt station to take train to Orcahrd and meet them. SnakeEyes & StormShadow... Once they had the tickets on their hand, the crowds straight away chiong to them lo. And within 10 sec, all the envelope just vanish...!! WTH right?? But then I open up and check, the show is on wed 9.20pm. Not gala liao la, they still put $7.50... And so I give to Reno as to exchange for tuesday Gala Premeire but also 9.20pm show... Took a GI JOE poster home which is A0 size...!! Dam big lo...

SKSS NDP rehearsal 2

Ah haha, Raj overall in charge of the parade segment while I'm busy training the Flag squad... The Flag holders will learn things dam fast lo, I only teach them the slow march and the slow hentak on the spot and they really can coordinate dam well lo. Thanks to Farid who is teaching the other 4, the SG flag squad. I'm taking care the School Flag squad... So now their tunring and bearing is now perfect, what is left now is the parade sequence and how to fold the flag... Can't teach them today as the parade square is taken by the marching contingent... Only thing is after the whole session, they can rest and watch the last rehearsal of the day. OH I love parade ceremony alot...!! Tmr Saturday, NCC Training in school... 8am - 12pm... After training going down to Orchard MRT Station to find StormShadow & SnakeEyes... Of course, to get another pair of tix to watch Gala Premiere of GI JOE... But the 2 will be given to those who I want to give... Can't wait to watch on tuesday lo... Today sch lesson should end at 12 but then teacher not here and so 10am can go home...!! BumbleBee appearance at Sembawang is cancelled...

Taking the pledge as one united people

The Pledge Moment is expected to take place at 8.22pm this National Day.

Come 9 Aug, at 8.22pm, get ready to stand at attention.

That marks the start of the Pledge Moment as part of the 44th National Day Parade (NDP) celebrations, with all Singaporeans encouraged to take the pledge at the same time, wherever they may be.

With this year's NDP theme anchored on the National Pledge, and all 10 chapters of the show echoing a line from it, the festive extravaganza at Float@Marina will culminate in a Pledge Moment during the finale of the show.

Written in August 1966 by then-Foreign Affairs Minister S. Rajaratnam against the backdrop of racial riots in the 1950s and 1960s, the pledge articulated the vision for Singaporeans to put aside all differences and work together towards building a successful nation.

Speaking to cyberpioneer, Colonel (COL) Ang Heng, Chairman of the NDP 2009 Celebrations Committee said: "No matter how Singapore transforms, the meaning behind the pledge is timeless. As we celebrate National Day, it's a time to be reminded of our nationhood, the journey we have travelled and our collective aspirations for the future."

Mr Ivan Heng, the creative director for this year's NDP, agreed, saying: "The pledge has brought together a whole generation of Singaporeans, to build a nation that we know today. Now in these challenging times, we are all inspired to proclaim these words anew."

Besides the scores of spectators celebrating National Day at the Float@Marina, it will also be possible for Singaporeans at home and outdoors to recite the pledge at the same time. A chime that can be heard island-wide will be sounded by the Singapore Civil Defence Force, signalling the start of the Pledge Moment. 

Announcements will be made to diners and shoppers at participating restaurants and malls, while those tuning in to the radio will also be alerted to the Pledge Moment by the DJs.

Summing up the purpose of the Pledge Moment, COL Desmond Tan, Chairman of the NDP 2009 Show Committee said: "The entire NDP celebrations has only one message, which is embedded in the pledge, and what we hope to achieve is for all Singaporeans to take the pledge with renewed conviction."

Free GI JOE GALA Tix up for grab and some freebies...!!

As same as how we Movie Mania promote movie, there will be SnakeEyes & StormShadow over there. The black and white ninja warriors will be distributing the gala tix. Just approach the black and white ninja warriors, take pictures with them at least la...!!  Venue will be at Orchard MRT station, the date is 1 Aug Saturday and the time will be 3pm... Catch them fighting... Will be giving out GI JOE pens too...!! So better come earlier b4 the tix are out and U get really disappointed....!! 

I won't be there to mind or what so don't ask me to help you chop the tixs for you. On that saturday afternoon I will be at Sembawang in BumbleBee costume...!! GET IT...!!

My condolence to Mdm Yeo and family...

Meet AC at Compass and we knew that we are late as all those who had reach AMK Hub already call AC as there had reach already, and only left the 2 of us nia. We went straight to the bus-stop, waited for 1/2 an hour and meanwhile chat alot la... Then don't know how they link until saying that I put on my costume and take pictures with girls...!! Oh mian... Then they say when there's girls crowded in an area, I will move to the area in the costume...!! Ah haha... Ok, upon reaching the place, saw Mr Ng and Mr Tham... Seat on the chair and look ard... Then after the ritual, one whole gang I mean EX-SKSS NCC and Wen Ting went to pay tribute and offer joss-stick. Then went back to our seat. We were about to leave when suddenly Mdm Yeo's relative told us to stay to eat some food before we go, well we did said we don't want, but as a respect we just stay behind. 

1st rd, we ate some chicken wing, pig trotter soup and dumpling. And so we cleared the 1st rd. Then Mr Ng came to our table and told us they can't finish and need us to clear out, and so we pin point at Yong Kuang la... Well, we eventually said don't want but in the end we still finish it. 3rd rd, sent from another EX-SKSS student (Kenny's Badge). Our table really cannot take in anymore, but then we still take it lo. Then there was a time when Yong Kuang was eating 1 whole plate of Mee, then the others were eating, and I said to Yong Kuang to squeeze the lime, to squeeze the lime. Then Wilson was thinking why I'm so quiet and suddenly laugh madly inside then they ask why and so Wilson say because he's thinking what had I said for the past when we are eating... And he said it was Squeeze the lime, Squeeze the lime...!! Everyone was laughing, then AC said because I'm too hungry, then I told Yong Kuang to Squeeze the lime two meanwhile taking some food while we are eating, and that's why I'm so quiet...!!

Ok, upon finish already we left the place while Mr Ng lobang the Hougang people and one SK people who left his SK buddies along to take bus...!! 

Really feel sad for her. She was still strong for today from what we see...!! Her husband was a doctor or Medical Officer in NS to be exactly. She even ask us how we know abt this ah?? Then I told her it was from intel... Then Mr Ng said it was he himself who inform us.
