Ace Combat 6 takes place in 2015 in the Anean Continent, north of Yuktobania
It also features the effects of the Ulysses Asteroid, as seen in Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies.
The game will have new countries: the prosperous Republic of Emmeria (whose air force players' Garuda Team belongs to), Kingdom of Nordennavic, and the Federal Republic of Estovakia (which had previously suffered from both the Ulysses Asteroid and then a civil war; it's the antagonist nation at the beginning of the game)
