The Conqueror's Story (楚汉骄雄)

Currently watching The Conqueror's Story... A Hong Kong film base on the end of the Qin Dynasty, many rivals are fighting for the throne. Among them, two good friends Liu Bang and Xiang Yu are the most renowned. Xiang Yu’s only ambition is to overthrow Qin, but he ends up committing suicide at the Wujiang River. In contrast, Liu Bang is from the lower class and has no political ambition at all. Ironically, he conquers the country. Their different endings suggest that personality determines one’s success, rather than the times or fate. Although Xiang Yu has many good helpers, including Fan Zeng, Ying Bu, his uncle Xiang Liang and cousin Xiang Zhuang his arrogance drives them away one by one. On the other hand, Liu Bang makes good use of his human resources. Many good warriors and intelligent politicians, like Han Xin, Zhang Liang, Chen Ping, Xiao He  and Fan Kuai devote their life to him.

There is always a beauty behind a hero. Liu Bang’s wife Lü Zhi helps him immensely having a desire for fame, and rests all her hope on him. Similarly, Xiang Yu has a beautiful woman Lady Yu. Fan Zeng warns him that she is a jinx and advises him to kill her to forestall future trouble, but he refuses…

LOVES THIS SHOW A LOT !!! Especially the character name call " Han Xin" (韩信), a Commander-In-Chief serving Liu Bang's army... One of the most famous General to be known til now...
