Open House celebrates 40 years of the RSAF

July 1, 2008: The RSAF Open House will be held from Aug 28-31 in conjunction with the RSAF's 40th Anniversary. The ever-popular event is open to the public on Aug 30 and 31. The Open House will include static displays of aircraft and air defence systems, the various parts of an aircraft and an aerial display. Commemorative stamps on the RSAF will be launched on Aug 28. The set of five stamps on the First Day Cover plus a presentation pack will also be available for sale during the Open House period. A 40th Anniversary Commemorative Book on the history of the RSAF and its transformation over the last 40 years will be launched during the RSAF Day Parade on Aug 28. Follow the Air Force’s milestones since its inception on Sept 1, 1968 as the then Singapore Air Defence Command.
