Today's Change Of Command was a success ....

Ok, just came back from NCC Campus. 1st half of the day we had lecture and it's abit tiring but then during this lecture we learn one new method of orienteering, which is drawing of natural expressway through a map. This is use to find out the route u draw and highlight plus visualising of it will not encounter enemies and it's very useful to check whether we will walk through the swamp which will decrease the soldiers morale. And it's afternoon we had lunch and after lunch it's our duty day to clean the MPH, so we tied the trash bags and boxes and throw at the garbage centre. The nearer the garbage centre, the smellier it is, cause the previous day trash is still there which decomppose to produce the smell and so we quickly put already and run away from that stink area. So go back to our 1st flr air con room and rest until 2.10pm, march to MPH and discuss on our performance for our POP to entertain ICEP people. Of course we will be making a funny performance la !! Then watch the parade rehearsal, some cadet fallout due to the scorching sun. But then it rain for awhile and stop. We had our dinner b4 watching the parade, we enter the tentage to watch the actual parade. We were late to catch the marching in part. But well, the overall event is nice.

Then we had to form up a line beside the road to wave our hands at the out-going Commandant NCC and clap for the incoming Commandant NCC. The new Commandant NCC is call LTC Adrian Koh, Wing Commander of Officer Cadet School. Oh then there was 2 officer in charge of the fire light pole sticking onto the ground, but when the light went off the officer overturn the bottle to fill the line with kerosene and so the officer light the stick again then it burn for awhile and suddenly a small explosion occur. The cadets standing around there were shocked. And so they stay away from that area.

Tmr another lecturing day but it will be filled with outdoor activity !! YEAH !!

This morning met Shamsuree on the bus, so had a chat with him telling him about the visit of Infantry Gunnery and Tactical Simulator (IGTS) at SAFTI MI Pasir Laba Camp. Then he say he's jealous about me because i can tryout on MATADOR IMT, M203 Grenade Launcher IMT, GPMG IMT and the demostration of 120mm Mortar ... And most specially, the live firing exercise conducted by the Commandos ... Told him about the Matador rocket explosion ... And he gets more jealous about it and say i join the 56th badge instead of the 55th ... Ah haha ...
