Yohoho, i'm back from my belaying at Sarimbun Scout Camp, manage to get out of the campsite by 6pm because it's going to get dark. And so i quickly walk faster to the exit lo ... Today i was late for the belaying, it started at 1pm and i reach the place like 1.45pm somehow, luckily Kai didn't scold me but ask me why i'm late ... Well, tmr is going to be a full day lo, 8am to 6pm ... Met some of the friends from dairy farm inside Sarimbun. Oh yeah, today's belaying qas quite funny, the safety specialist keep playing with those Primary 5 kids from Naval Base Primary, wat star wars la, then he mention abt students wearing helmet like Darth Vader and playing the sticks with like a lightsabre with the students then the students throw the sticks at him and we, the camp trainers were like laughing lo ... Well, saw Elsie & Anuar and Anuar is in his no.s 4 i don't know why ... Oh well, tmr's gonna be a full day lo, and also i had to wake up earlier lo. And today i kept listening to that song I.V. by X-Japan ... SAW IV Theme Song ... The song tune is very nice ... Oh well, thursday and friday is gonna be another belaying day but it will be at labrador. I nvr go b4 lo, but the person will bring me ard the place ... Ok, later 11pm had to pray to the heaven because today is the 8th day of chinese new year which is to thanks the Jade Emperor of Heaven (天公)...
Come midnight of the eighth day of the new year, Hokkiens will offer thanks giving prayers to the Emperor of Heaven. Offerings will include sugarcane as it was the sugarcane that had protected the Hokkiens from certain extermination generations ago. Tea is served as a customary protocol for paying respect to an honored person.
