The most horrible task & sinful task I've ever done in my life: was to kill a quail with my bare hand for the survival course as part of the survival assessment~ Not just me, my other friends had to do as part of the assessment for it~ I feel so sinful when I sayang its head and it was looking at me so calmly, just couldn't bare to silence it and my hand was trembling badly.. So I just talk to it in Chinese, saying I'm not the one who wants to end your end, I had to do it as part of survival.. I'm so sorry, just so sorry// Then the assesser said: U may start now! My team was like stop and stun for awhile, but didn't want to waste too much time, so I immediately close my eyes and face my head else where, both my fingers on the neck and then twist & pull its head off in a quick act~ I just hold my tears back hard// Trying to overcome that fear.. ~Not gonna elaborate more cause it's abt skinning the organs inside~ After that, we lay everything properly on the leaves for the inspection and some indication test.. Til now I just feel so sinful~ In the end that was our food after 30hr+ of staying hunger ~ Sigh :( But I'm just glad that my team did a good job on construction of our shelter & our fire place which can start fire for like 2 to 3 times and in the end we do not have to become a predator(kill the quail) again~ Phew// Til now the sinful feeling is still lingering on me~ :((
