Singapore Toys & Comics Convention 28/6/08

The event was really interesting ... With Mus & Guo Wei to accompany ... It will be more fun ... Mus bought his comics, i took pictures with cosplayers like UltraSeven, Masked Rider the 1st, Godzilla, Masked Rider Hibiki & Ibuki, Storm Trooper, Darth Vadar and his force by 501st Legion, Pirates, Desert Storm soldiers ... Well, Guo Wei only browse around & collect poster like Iron Man, Bakugan, Sonic & Kamen Rider Hibiki !! The door gift is really very nice and cute ... Wa lao, me & Mus were the only one to take the Kamen Rider Hibiki Poster directly from the guy ... I started first la, i went to that guy and ask for a poster, it roll in half and give me, i say thank you and walk away !! Haha !! Mus at the end of the trip say wanted to get the Masked Rider Hibiki's poster, then he told me to help him get the poster for him ... I say you go get it yourself , that guy already so sian, nobody goes near to him ... So Mus went by himself like what i did and say thank you before walking away ... Well, we really enjoy it alot ... Rafi, too bad u didn't came !! Who ask you to overslept la !!! Of course we enjoyed ourselves very much !! Very dam happy to have a photo with KR Hibiki & Ibuki with me & Mus together doing the fighting act ... With 1 of my favourite 40 ultraman Ultrasven with his boomerang on his head ... The Godzilla, Storm Troopers, The Shu Gundam Warriors, the pirates, Masked Rider The 1st, Commander Trooper and the pic i'm mostly excited with was with DARTH VADAR & HIS FORCE & the soldiers ... The soldiers point the pistol & rifle directly at the camera, and with Darth Vadar & his force standing beside me !! The 3 of us really enjoyed it alot !! Alright, the videos of the Imperial March by the Darth Vadar's force will be uploaded, go watch it !!

Back from Cultural Night, abit disappointed .... 27/6/08

Well today met up with Jun Hao at the SK MRT Station there, saw Faris, Joseph and his frineds waiting for his friend at HG MRT Station. Jun Hao came around 5.05pm ... I reach there around 4.55pm ... OK, saw him then tell him that Feverrence was with Eveleen, so we had a big gathering at the 7-Up store there ... Everytime is always Abid the last person to arrive, similar to yesterday, he also came late ... HALF OF THE CLASS GATHERE THERE HO !!! QUITE BIG SIA !!! Ok, then board the train and alight at Dhoby Ghaut, then discuss with Mus, Rafi & Guo Wei about tmr's event happening at Suntec and where to gather ... Then we took NSL MRT to newton, alight there and step out ... Saw the bus-stop is full of our school students in outside uniform ... Wait & wait, the bus are full ... SO WE THE 5N2 DECIDED TO WALK THERE !!! ON THE WAY, WE GO FORM A LONG LINE AND TO JAM THE STUDENTS, THE FUNNY THING WAS THAT ALMOST ALL THE STUDENTS AT THE BUS-STOP FOLLOW US !!! HAHA !!! WE ARE LEADING THE SCHOOL ... So we walk and walk !!! Then til another bus-stop and ask for info from the bus captain .. So we board and Jun Hao say :" This bus is only for 5N2 !!" Then i shouted:" Priority goes to the 5N2 !!" Haha !!! We board already then chit chat on the bus, then time to alight Jun Hao shouted:" Next stop then drop ah !! Next stop then drop !!" Haha !! Then suddenly i walk & walk, then realise that i'm in the lead, the rest are behind me ... Well, i join up with the 1 line la ... Yeah !! Reach already and of course, saw Mr Halim at the Guard Post, then i go and ka jiao him, saying Security guard already ah !!! Haha !! Then we continue to walk to the foyer there and to the canteen, bought a drink to dehydrate !! Ok !! So we early went in, and was block by the prefects, so we wait ... Finally can go in, then had to walk up the stairs ... The top gallery is not bad, but the thing is that it's very squeezy ... Ok, then some of the students started to anyhow sit ... Teachers are shouting and giving instruction to students not to sit at people's seat ... Well, when the show starts til the end i thought it's quite interesting ... In the end, it's good and funny ... But then there's some students shouting and jerring there IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHOW LA !!! Then Guo Wei told me :" I feel like wanted to seal their mouths with strings sia !! Irritating !!". Then there's a exciting part going on, so students at the front gallery lyn against the railing which block our top sit view ... Some even stand up, Then Jun Hao say :" Sua Ku !!" wth !!! And of course the most funny part was when the Medium was doing tai chi, we laugh la ... Then suddenly it turn red with the light effect ...  So we say the medium is already possess ... Then I whisper to Guo Wei and said that they should play Puti dharma's theme song instead of the music la ... The show ends not even 9pm, that was when i feel abit disappointed la ... Then students started to jer and shout boo ... Some even do those hand sign ... Ok, then we wanted to go to the toilet, the tap water is a sensor activation ... REALLY IRRITATING ... Our class wanted to drink the tap but then the tap water is like operate for 2 sec then it stops, then u have to remove ur hand and wave again, then the water will come out ... Wa lao, we peck chek until we give up and went outside to wait for bus ... Took 171 and went back to Newton MRT Station, then alight at Dhoby Ghaut there and walk to NEL and took to Harbour Front, cause we want to sit instead of stand, we onboard and then sit on the empty seats when the passengers all alight at Harbour Front ... So we sit until buangkok while me, Guo Wei & Hairil alight there to have a look at the Kopitiam city outside Buagkok MRT Station !! Really big !! Indeed ... It extend until the outside ... We actually decided to eat supper but then only buy drinks to dehydrate ... Walk and drink, walk and drink !!! " Then Guo Wei dispatch from us which he walk up to Seng Kang and Hairil & me walk all the way to our house la !!! We talk about the show ... He said really wasted $15 on it ... Ok !! CAN'T WAIT FOR TMR'S TOYS, COMICS & COSPLAY EVENT HELD AT SUNTEC !! Really want to have pics with those cosplay !! Ok !! Need to slp early for tmr's event .. Need to wake up around 7.30pm and go to Dhoby Ghuat MRT Station to wait for Rafi, Mus & Guo Wei !!

Back from last minute shopping with friends !!! 26/6/08

Went to Orchard with Abid, Mus, Han Sheng, Jun Hao, Noel & Hairil to Orchard Rd to shop ... THEY WENT THERE TO BUY THEIR CLOTHS LA ... I only go there and acoompany only ... Watch them testing the shirt all this ... Walk here and there ... Today, JUN HAO WAS HAVING A GOOD SOUL !!! He had done 2 good deed within 1 day ... 1st incident was at SK MRT Sttion when a blindman ask Jun Hao where's the nearest ATM machine ... So Jun Hao hold his hand and bring him there ... 2nd incident was at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station, when a lady lost her way, so ask Jun Hao where to take NEL mrt, SO JUN HAO GAVE HER THE DIRECTION ALL THIS ... Indeed a good soul ... For today la, hope he keep doing this way ... Well, bought this local F1 magazine ... It tells us about the interesting facts of some drivers on how they win all this ... And just read halfway and found out that my favourite driver Felipe Massa from Ferrari who got into motor racing after delivering pizzas to the brazilian GO at the age of 7 ... Haha !!! Well, saw this Ferrari shoe with Felipe Massa's name on it and it costs $160 ... Will save $$$ to buy ... After the shopping went to play pool after bid Mus cause he need to go home at 6pm+ ... Won 2 time constantly ... And score 2 points within 1 shot when the ball i shot hit the 2 balls and it fall into the same hole !!! Tyco 1 la ... But i kept having this problem of missing the hit for the white ball ... I'm a rookie player ... Just started only ... But i don't play ... Got no interest in it anyway except for F1 ... Reach home around 11pm ...

FIA announces provisional 2009 calendar 25/6/08

Formula One racing’s governing body, the FIA, has released a provisional calendar for the 2009 world championship. The addition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix makes for a 19-round season - one more round than in 2008.

The Australian Grand Prix will kick off proceedings on March 29, followed by Malaysia and Bahrain, before the championship heads to Europe. In a change to the traditional calendar the British Grand Prix will take place before the French race.

In another shift, the Turkish event will revert back to its more traditional August date, following this season’s earlier May slot. The championship will draw to a close in mid November with the inaugural Abu Dhabi race

Haiya...Today is tuesday only !! 24/6/08

Now waiting for Kamen RIder Kiva ep 21 subbed to be out !!! While waiting, revising for my geog test for tmr remediation ... Today Physics test i guess i can pass borderline liao ... I did study, that includes the final last revision during lesson of the day which is also physics ... Today during our MT lesson, we talk about Jun Hao's recent trip to Taiwan ... He bought a box of Oreo crunch balls which aren't found in Singapore but only in Taiwan ... It's crunchy and nice ...  Then Ms Tey told us about 'O' lvl MT oral date of commence ... It's this coming thursday !!! Sian .... But our turn will be abit behind la ... So there's still time for us to prepare ... Today maths lesson quite funny, Mr Tan told us that he would like to organise a maths remedial on Saturday ... Then Derrick say wanna have night class, but then Mr Tan seems to like don't want to have it ... So Jun Hao don't know say what and criticise Mr Tan saying that saturday & sunday our holiday, so better be on school days ... Then Mr Tan say because he had NPCC on friday and on saturday he need to ends at 11am ... Then i say ... He still got someone at home to accompany ma !!! Then the whole class say: "HHHHHHAAAIIYYYYAAAA....." ... From that onwards when Mr Tan said anything we would say: "HHHHHHAAAIIYYYYAAAA....." .... Then we kept saying until he say : Whenever i say something you'll will always "HHHHHHAAAIIYYYYAAAA....." ... Then we again "HHHHHHAAAIIYYYYAAAA....." Then he laugh... Our whole class laugh too ... Well, had to revise my geog and waiting for my kiva ep 21 to be subbed ... Well, everyday our class always have fun time ...

Revising Physics while watching my favourite group in Project Superband !!! 23/6/08

Was revising my physics while waiting for my favourite band in 非常 Superband 2 to start their rock & roll plus the only group with scratch !! And that's B3  (肥皂）Fei Zao ... English name call Soap ... Previously in Superband 1, there's a group call Qinobe ... Starting their song also rock & roll, they also have scratch in their music, but Qinobe always make the audience high up cause in the group there's a malay guy everytime put up make ups and wear funny costume ... It makes the audience sing & laugh with joy ... Too bad they are eliminated from quarter finals cause their song are getting boring and boring !!! But this time, Fei Zao or Soap is like reviving the spirit from Qinobe ... And also they are the only group which is multi-racial de ... Qinobe is also a multi-racial band ...My younger sis say i'm very supportive towards multi racial band !!! Hahaha !!! Ok !!! better revise my physics for tmr's mass re exam at the hall !!

YES !!! YES !!! My favourite driver win the race in Formula 1 France race !!! 22/6/08

Yes !!! Nice job Massa !!! Nice job !!! He got champion for this track and his name at the driver's championship finally move to the top scoring 48 ... It's a one-two victory for Ferrariin Sunday's French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours ... With Raikkonen 2nd but due to some of the parts flung off from his F2008 engine body, his car started to slow down abit and then started to fall behind from 1st to 2nd position and the happiest man of course is Jarno Trulli from Toyota ... Since his first podium in 2005 ... He didn't earn any podium for the 3 years until today ... He got 3rd !!! As for Lewis Hamilton, i don't know why during the 1st lap he charge off the track and took a bit of shortcut which ends up him getting a penalty which he had to went through the pit stop at a slow constant speed ... Which makes him getting the 10th ... And ofcourse he got no points ... sad for him ... Well this race was really quite safe, with one driver retire due to system problem ... Well, Mark Webber does a drift accidently which was really interesting ... Then he continue on the track !!! Really nice man, his drift ....

Now watching the QNA session for the three of them... Massa, Raikkonen & Trulli ... Massa said he's very happy because he gets first !!! And Raikkonen of course said disappointed in the race because of his car's problem which lead him to fall behind and get 2nd position ... While for Trulli, he's really dam happy la, after 3 years, finally get to pop the big champagne and a trophy ...

Hamilton, don't lose out, next race is at ur country, i guess you will feel proud when racing at ur countries race track !!! Better score well !!! Hm ... at least a podium ... If worst cast scenario then be in top 8 and score points for urself ... But better at podium !!!

Well looking forward to the next race held at Britain SANTANDER on 4/7, 5/7 & 6/7 ... Looking forward to the race !!!

National Day Parade Combined Rehearsal - 21/6/08

Yeah !!! This time manage to capture Flaming Heart ... Nice right ??? But u can't see it clearly cause previously the rehearsal i've capture, the sky is still bright enough ... They start flying around 7pm+ ... Ok... too bad no firework, i also don't know why ? But then i saw huge mass red cloud are over that area, so i suspect there's drizzle or wet weather program so there isn't firework display la ... Nvr mind, i'm not sad or what ... Cause there's still 7 more firework to catch ... Next week 28/6 and onwards ... Then the 22nd & 23rd August will be open for everyone, it's still at the old place ... And the place is at esplanade there !!! Well have a look at the video i've recorded !!! Hah !!! Meanwhile was waiting the qualifying result of F1 at France ... Cause i never switch on my online tv player so i'm dam anxious la ... And yes, great news came... Raikkonen & Massa, both from Ferrari took 1st and 2nd for qualifying hence they got to start 1st and 2nd follow by Hamilton from Mclaren Mercedes ... But then previously the accident Hamilton had cause which was the pit stop accident which he accidently crash his MP4-23 to Raikkonen's F2008 ... Thereby his position had to drop 10 ... Which means he start from 13 ... Looking forward for tmr's F1 race at France ... Race commence at 8pm (SG time) ... Go Ferrari drivers !!!

Waiting for the anime to buffer finish ... Modifying my internet browser !!! 19/6/08

Ok ... This anime title is call The tower of Druaga -The Aegis Of Uruk- ... Was watching for a long period of time ... Next ep which is ep 12 is the last episode ... You'll know what ... This story came out on last years N-LVL 07 english P2 open ended comprehension ... The passage on the paper is almost similar to the anime ... Which consist of characters like Gilgamesh, Princess Ishtar whom bless the sword of Gilgamesh to help him defeat a demonlord ... The story is quite similar to the passage ...
Ok, while it's buffering, was modifying the new Mozilla Firefox 3 which was officially release on Monday 16/6 ... Then it was quite good la the browser appearance ... With cute symbols ... Then i make the back and front button from circular shape to rectangular shape !!! .... Haha !!! Quite fun actually, i've installed a ads block program to block those ads which kept popping or flashing saying congratulation you have won a prize or money ... With this, it's ads free ... Yeah !!! No more disturbance from the ads ...

Today left home at 12pm and reach vivo around 12.40pm ... Sms Paul on the way telling him i'm in Toys R Us ... Then saw him, and talk to him la ... He say must wait cause the suit actor come abit late ... So i walk around the store and browse at the toys lo ... Haha !!! Finally they come out, then follow them behind and let those younger child to have a pic with them ... So during that time, Paul gave me one of the poster ... Which is the Mystic Force in Legend Form which they can summon Manticore Megazord !!! So all the children had went up, so it's my turn ... Well, took 2 time with the rangers ... After that, said bye bye to Paul and off to PC Show !!! Then saw a shop selling F1 souvenirs... Walao the things are quite expensive man ... 1 Ferrari jacket made of silk costs $400 plus ... WAH !! Then the cotton type jacket for Ferrari costs $600 plus ... WAH HEART PAIN LA !!! Then the polo tee for Ferrari costs $70 to $80 plus ... As for Mclaren, the track short cost about $400 plus too ... Wah !!! Never mind, work and work and get my pay to buy the jacket ... Ok from Harbourfront took to Dhoby Ghaut and had lunch at the kopitiam, then walk to NSL and touch down at city hall, from the mrt station walk to suntec convention centre... When stepping into the entrance of the hall exhibition, saw this F1 Simulator ... Saw this uncle driving it, almost all people i saw only when they are driving only shift their gears up to 2 or 3 ... The maximum u can go is 6 which is up to 400 MPH ... Then when the driver crash against the wall, the impact was so strong that the machine act a slam causes a strong vibration towards those people standing around the simulator including me too ... Then the drivers continue to drive their way towards the finishing line ... Then after that, i walk around the exhibition centre... I saw Can Wen coincidentally, he's working as a sale person for ASUS !!! So i said hi to him !!! Then he gave me a brouchure !!! HAHA !!! Ya la !!! Don't disturb him already so walk off !!! Then walk around the booth and saw alot of items... The price was totally incredible ... So cheap ... I bought a optical wired laser mouse to replace my acer wireless mouse ... My wireless mouse didn't spoil, it's just that it use triple AA batteries and had to replace once it has no power and waste money to buy new batteries ... Haha !!! Tmr i'm going down again !!! To buy another item which is a webcam ... A 5MP Creative Web cam costs $25 only ... Woohoo ... Too bad, can't saw any cheap laptop with triple digit dollar number ... Not like the IT show which one of the acer laptop for normal user costs only $333 ... Wa lao !!! Haiya, so walk around after buying the optical mouse... Then enter the game shop and saw a group of children around the age of 12 to 14 ... They're playing Gears Of War .... Quite a bloody game la !!! I just saw that they lovely bloody game .. Cause there's a weapon cal the "Lancer" assault rifle is equipped with a chainsaw bayonet that instantly kills a foe ... When the chainsaw is activated on the monsters, the blood will then anyhow splash and the flesh will anyhow fly on the tv screen ... Wa lao weh !!! THen when this happens, the children was like cheering and laughing ... Siao liao lo !!! Anyway ... I'm just very happy today !!! Tmr who wanna go PC SHOW ???

I'm now waiting for 11.30am ... Just to take a shower and going down to vivo to catch Power Ranger Mystic Force .... That includes the meet & greet session ... I'm going for the meet & greet session at Toys R Us ... Hehe, it will be good if there's 5 rangers altogether to have a pic with me !! Too bad Mus is going to Malaysia so he can't follow me ... !!! Even though he's a power ranger fanatic .... If not, he will come for sure ... Haiya ... Wonder what will happen later... Anyway, after taking pic with Mystic Force... I will had to rush down to Suntec for PC SHOW 08... Go there at least buy something ma !!! Of course to check for my computer parts la !! Anyway, i will try to bargain !!

RSAF serviceman dies after collapsing during training !!! 12/6/08

An airforce regular serviceman died, one-and-a-half hours after he collapsed while he was undergoing jungle orientation training in Brunei on Wednesday.

20-year-old Officer Cadet (OCT) Clifton Lam Jia Hao, a pilot trainee with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), collapsed at about 5:45pm.

OCT Lam was given immediate first aid treatment and was attended to by a doctor and a senior medic. He was evacuated by helicopter at 6:32pm to Ripas Hospital and arrived 10 minutes later. The doctor and senior medic continued to resuscitate OCT Lam en route to the hospital. OCT Lam was pronounced dead at 7:20pm in Ripas Hospital.

MINDEF and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late OCT Lam. MINDEF will assist the family in their time of grief and is investigating the incident.

It is the second death in two days involving SAF men in training. On Tuesday, 20-year-old army recruit Andrew Cheah Wei Siong died after he fainted during training on Pulau Tekong.

My INCOMPLETE Battleship which looks like a Aircraft Carrier, Given a name call Roaring Lion but it looks like an Eagle or a Hawk !!

Ok, today D&T, i coated my model's bottom with red paint, then make the three 9 inch cannon out... With the 3 aluminium rod drill with 1 cm depth hole in the middle of the rod... When school opens, i will make it that it can adjust up and down... Well, left and right act as the main switch for the whole model ... Then the hull will be coated with grey colour as similar as the original REAL ship ... And then the cannons's handle will be covered with little black bags to act as the mechanism holidng the cannon tube ... The whitl thing you saw on the pic is actually white putt... To cover those crack part and holes ... So that when blow moulding, there won't be any crack line seen or appear on the pvc sheet ... Then my vessel's platform will be added with fan to make it looks like it's burning and the gearing system ... The blade at the tail all this ... I guess school open will be tiring again for me !!!

Today went back to school to complete certain part of my D&T product !! Haha !! My vessel Roaring lion turn into some sort of Eagle's face !! Even my friends said it looks like eagle !! Well eagles aren't bad !! Hehe !! I completed the hull's form and shape ... And it turns into a Aircraft Carrier instead of Battleship !! Even Mr Arum were joking with me saying that "He's thinking of what will happen to his Titanic after it crashes with the iceberg !!" Haha !! He included this " You(me) are making this so that next time u own this and then ur wife can have a rider like the titanic movie the loving part right ??". Haha !! Today, lots of things happen, the stall no.s 7 seems that it will be replace by another vendor ... Cause there's a lady looking around the canteen with a paper on her hand, then she approach me and asked :"Boy, where's the vegeterian stall ?". I rpelied:"No.7 there !". Then she say thank you !! Then after that she asked me:" Why the uncle didn't sell already ? " I replied:"I don't know." His food nice anot ? I replied:"I don't know(Cause i seldom eat vegeterian food). Are there long queues during ur recess for the stall ? I replied:"Sometime have, sometime don't have ... Then she say:Thanks ah Boy !. So the stall vendor replacement came 1st thing in my mind !! ... Well walking out of school around 5pm ... Saw a red bull mini cooper !! Haha !! I guess a supporter of Red bull's F1 driver David Coulthard !! So took a picture of it ... Then about the vision... Went out of school with Mus to bought my lunch... Then during our returning journey, Mus called me to see this !! A Quality Schoo... Where did the l go ? Nobody knows !!

Death of Serviceman Today !! 10/6/08

REC Andrew Cheah Wei Siong from the Basic Military Training Centre fainted at 8.35am while participating in a 2km walk training activity at Pulau Tekong. He was rushed to the medical centre and arrived within five minutes. He was given immediate medical attention by the doctors. At 9.24am, REC Cheah was heli-evacuated to the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). The SAF medical team continued to resuscitate him en route. REC Cheah was pronounced dead at 10.50am in SGH.

MINDEF and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late REC Cheah. MINDEF will assist the family in their time of grief and is investigating the incident.

Sniffing the paint smell !! Can die ah !! Well, after physics lesson stay in class and play lo ... Only me, Wei Keong, Zailan and Mus ... WK play Mus PSP, Zailan got nothing better to do so walk around the class ... Mus and i are playing Handphones Bomberman & Soccer Multiplayer ... Link through bluetooth !! As for playing bomberman game, i won by 3-0... Tactics ? I plant the bomb when Mus was trap by the wall with my bomb blocking his only exit !! Haha !! Then soccer Me(England) Mus(Germany) ... Score ? Won by 1-0 (Me) As Mus just started playing which i just sent him today ... The soccer really dam hard to play lo !! U only like having 10% chance of getting a goal !! I second half about 70 sec then score leh !! Seriously, both of us found it very hard !! Around 4+ leave the school, went to CP with Zailan & Mus ... WK with his bike bid us and left for gym !! So we ate some old chang kee curry puffs, decided to bring Zailan to BlueMax to watch the anime call Aquarion !! Too bad no more, it has change to another anime call "NANA" ... I also don't know what Nana anime is about !!! After that, decided to waste time around CP, Zailan went home 1st ... So Mus & me Expedition begin ... 1st stop - Metro, went there to browse some toys and figurines !! 2nd stop - Kiddy palace, also to browse for toys and figurines. 3rd stop - Best Denki, looking at laptops and computers appliance. 4th stop - Cyberactive, look at games. 5th stop - Comics connection, nothing to see, just get out !! 6th stop - Value, bought a soyabean to drink ... Of course, Mus say final stop - Jump down from outside value shop to the ground !! Haha !! Just joking of course la !! Well, went home after walking pass banquet when Mus walk the bridge part while i had to went to the bus stop outside cp to take 161 home !!

YESTERDAY'S F1 RACE TOTALLY A GONE CASE !! 9/7/08

The F1 race held yesterday at Canada was like a miracle !! Robert Kubica - BMW Sauber (1st), Nick Heidfeld - BMW Sauber (2nd), David Coulthard - Red Bull (3rd), Timo Glock - Toyota (4th), Felipe Massa, Ferrari (5th). Where's Lewis Hamilton (Mclaren Mercedes) & Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) ???

Where they gone ?? There's a reason behind it !! Yes and that is Hamilton ran into the back of Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari, which was stopped at a red light at the pit exit. The resulting damage put both men out the race, with Hamilton admitting he had not seen the light in time. Rosberg then ran into the rear of Hamilton’s stricken McLaren, but was able to rejoin the race, despite damage to the front of his Williams.

Let's here what Kimi (Ferrari) got to say : "There's not much I can say. My race was ruined by Hamilton's mistake. Obviously, anyone can make mistakes, as I did two weeks ago in Monaco, but it's one thing to make a mistake at two hundred (miles) per hour but another to hit a car stopped at a red light. I am not angry because that doesn't achieve anything and does not change my result! I am unhappy, because I had a great chance of winning. Once the graining had gone from the tyres, the car was going very well. I have failed to score in these last two races and now it's time to start winning again. There is still a long way to go in the championship and it is still very close and we have everything we need to regain the ground we have lost."

And due to this accident, McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Williams’ Nico Rosberg will drop 10 places on the grid at the next round of the championship in France as penalty for their pit-lane incident in Canada. Commenting on the incident, Hamilton said: "As I exited the box, I saw two cars jostling for position ahead of me in the pit lane. Obviously, I didn't want to get involved in their tussle, and was trying not to do so, and then all of a sudden they stopped. And by the time they'd come to a halt, it was too late for me to avoid them. It's just unfortunate when stuff like this happens, but I have no argument with the stewards.”

BMW Sauber’s Robert Kubica on taking a historic maiden victory; McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen on the pit-lane incident that ruined both their races; and David Coulthard on putting Red Bull back on the podium. VP say i'm a cowboy because .... 4/6/08

Today during his angmo lesson going through the comprehension... Then he ask :" do you know what is a ......' (forget what that word already... But it got to do with Cowboy la... So i say:"Cowboy"... He replied:"Quite near, but anyone know what is a cowboy ?" I volunteer and say;" Ride horse one la " ... Nope... anybody can answer the question ??? ... Then he say:" It's actually last time they move herds from place to place to graze the grass ... Then don't know what happen he suddenly say that my dressing looks like a cowboy... S sport shoe with black short with School PE attire... Everyone was like laughing la... Even myself was laughing also... Vp very funny one la... So today Guru was absent from his lesson, then he say... He's like taking leave, one day interval the next day he will come... But then i say to Sara maybe is due to yesterday VP shoot alot of qns at Guru, but Guru can't answer... That's why he don't want to come... When VP don't know the students name he will call by funny nickname for e.g there's 2 johnathan in our class so VP name them Johnathan 1 and Johnathan 2... Then VP call Hafizah by Girl guides ... Hahaha !!! Well, really enjoy his lesson alot than our normal lesson !!

CODE GEASS R2 EP 9 POSTPONED TO JUNE 8 INSTEAD OF JUNE 1...

Japan now very respectful ah !!! After the china quake, they postpone episode 9 to Jun 8... Then after reading the post by someone... " Speculation places the reason on the recent earthquakes in China and the plotline now moving into dealing with the Chinese Federation." Some of the Code Geass episode talks about chinese federation and there's some scene showing reestablishment throne of China and certain part of countries... There's even eunuch portraying inside... That includes the Forbidden City which house the Chinese Federation... Haiya... Can't wait to watch Episode 9 especially thier mecha...

Kamen Rider Den-O Movie -Ore Tanjou- I'm born

I cut the movie until the final battle with Gaorider... And the train battle... Love their train alot as it can fight !! Den-Liner Gouka the red train which is the main train... Den-Liner Isurugi is a single blue train cabin with a sea turtle like machine... Den-Liner Rekkou is a single yellow train with axe on each side and a large axe in the front... Den-Liner Ikazuchi is a double purple colour train with the upper half able to open up to reveal a dragon head while the rear half is able to reveal a dragon tail... The zeroliner is a green steam locomotive which has a head of the bull on the 1st carriage and the helicopter hawk on the 2nd carriage. A very nice aerial battle with Gaohliner... The orange dinosaur head train...

This anime series makes me love the maths topic cylinder alot !!!

Tan Howe Liang - The Hercules of Singapore

Long time nvr see him already... Til now, he's the only one who earn the only Olympic Silver medal in Singapore until now...

He could have just been a Singaporean that nobody knows about. He could have failed to keep his promise to his late-father about being the strongest man in the world one day. All these would have happened if he were to withdraw from the 1960 Olympics in Rome. But Tan Howe Liang did the exact opposite of that. Battling overwhelming odds at the risk of an injury, Tan Howe Liang went on to become among one of the biggest Singaporean legends ever. A modest, unsung hero, Tan Howe Liang went out of the public eye for more than 30 years. It was only in recent times that his monumental and significant exploits were given the spotlight that they rightfully deserved. Today, his spirit of determination serves as an inspiration for all. He truly is an embodiment of the Singapore Spirit.

TAN Howe Liang owns the distinctive honour of being the only Singaporean athlete to have won an Olympic medal.

That was in the 1960 Rome Olympics, where he lifted his way to a silver medal in the lightweight division.

Forty-seven years have past by, but no Singaporean athlete has yet to match or better the former weightlifter’s achievement.

Born in Swatow, Tan is the third of eight siblings.He settled in Singapore with his family when he was four years old.

It all started for Tan, who grew up in Chinatown, when he walked past the former Gay World Amusement Park with his friends one day.

He witnessed his first weightlifting competition and fell in love with the sport instantly. His potential was there for all to see.

After only one year of training, Tan, then 20, became the national junior and senior champion in the lightweight division in 1953.

The lack of financial support meant that Tan had to pay out of his own pocket to finance his training and expenses.

At that time, he was working as a clerk at Cathay Organisation.

But he plodded on, all because of a a promise he made to his late father.

“One day, I will be the strongest man in the world,” he had promised his father.

His Teochew father had died in a Sago Lane death-house when Tan was 14.

 

Like any dutiful son, he kept to his promise and delivered a silver medal at the 1960 Olympic Games.

The only Olympic medal won by a Singaporean.

Not after a failed attempt four years earlier in Melbourne, where he blacked out during the competition.

It wasn’t smooth-sailing for the strongman in Rome either.

Russia’s Viktor Busheuv had already won the gold by smashing the world record.

It was down to Tan and Iraq’s Abdul Wahid Aziz for the silver medal.

Tan had one lift left (clean-and-jerk) when he felt some pain in his legs.

The doctors advised that he return to the Athletes’ Village for treatment.

That would have meant a withdrawal from the competition but there was no way he was going to give up.

He competed through the pain barrier to claim the silver.

Now 74, Tan looks not a day older than 60, thanks to a regular exercise regime.

Compared to the present day where athletes are promised a reward of $1 million for winning a gold medal at the Olympics, Tan did not receive any monetary rewards for his colossal effort in 1960.

Humble by nature, Tan never complained.

He was given the honour of being the flagbearer at the closure of the National Stadium last month.

WHY HE IS GREAT

THE day was 8 Sep, 1960. The venue – the Palazetto Dello Sport Hall in Rome. Tan, then 27, lifted a total of 380kg in the lightweight (67.5kg) category to beat 33 rivals for second place.

He was pipped to the gold medal by Russia’s Viktor Busheuv.

Two years earlier, Tan established a world record in the jerk (lightweight division) with a lift of 347 pounds at the 6th British Empire & Commonwealth Games, now known as the Commonwealth Games, in Cardiff.

He also struck gold at the 3rd Asian Games in Tokyo that year.

A year later, he won a gold medal at the inaugural South-east Asian Peninsular Games in Bangkok.

Tan’s Olympic medal made him the only Singaporean to have won a medal at all the major international games – the Seap Games, the Asian Games, the Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games.

He became the first weightlifter in the world to be awarded the International Weightlifting Federation (national honour) Gold Award in 1984.

He is the only athlete to be bestowed the Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Meritorious Service Medal) at the National Day awards.

HIS ACHIEVEMENTS:
1958 – Won gold in the lightweight class at the 6th Commonwealth Games in Cardiff.
1958 – Won gold at the 3rd Asian Games in Tokyo.
1959 – Won gold in the lightweight class at the 1st South-east Asian Peninsular
Games in Bangkok.
1960 – Won silver in the lightweight class at the Rome Olympic Games.
1962 – Won gold in the middleweight class in the 7th
Commonwealth Games in Perth.
